Prakash Shetty (born 1 April 1960) is an Indian cartoonist.[1] He was born in Mangalore, Karnataka. He began cartooning in 1975 at the age of 15. He worked as a staff cartoonist for Kannada Publications. Kitoo, a comic serial with a boy as the main character, has been published in several different magazines for 15 years. He joined The Week as a cartoon illustrator in the 1990s and left in 2001.
He is the only Indian spot caricaturist to do one hundred thousand caricatures of the public ever since 1975.
